Most have never read Google’s guidelines on duplicate content .

They just somehow assume that if something appears twice online, asteroids and locusts must be close to decimating all their efforts!

Google’s recent decision to drop author images from serps (search engine results pages) has generated a bit of discussion many critical and sometimes cynical about Google’s motives.

But, with Google Authorship in place, each piece of content is connected to one and only one author and their corresponding “contributor to” blogs, no matter how many times it gets scraped or duplicated.

So, maybe continuing to add and use Google Authorship even without author images is still a good idea.
